Estate Sale Management
Your Estate Sale begins with a walk-through to determine the real
value of the personal property to be sold. This initial consultation is
done at no charge.

Do not throw anything away before calling me.

In many cases a box or receipt could drastically affect the value of
an item. I will meet with you at the location to determine if the items
to be sold will reach the total needed to run a sale. If so we will
select a date to hold the sale. At this time you will also need to
indicate any items that will not be for sale.

The fee to manage the sale is a percentage of the proceeds, and
varies based on the merchandise to be sold and the expected
amount of labor and staffing required to conduct the sale. In the
event the sale does not meet my minimum, I can provide
assistance with pricing to help you run your own sale.

Once we have signed the contract for the sale, my assistants and I
will sift through the contents of the house and dispose of
non-saleable items.

Finally, the items will be priced and attractively displayed for sale.

The sale is publicized with emails, newspaper advertising and local
street signage. I also contact dealers and collectors directly to
inform them of items of interest to them.

Once the sale closes we will discuss how you would like to
dispose of any remaining unsold items.

Ten business days following the sale a sales report will be sent to
you with a check for the proceeds.
